Executive Summary

Historical fuel data tests conducted at Sunshine Materials Inc., Clermont, Florida, Terminal confirm that the addition of ILFC Ten35 to fuel reduces fuel consumption and increases efficiency.

A baseline was compiled starting April 1, 1997, through June 20, 1997. On June 23, 1997, ILFC Ten35 was introduced into the #2 diesel storage tanks, at a ratio of one gallon of ILFC Ten35 to five thousand gallons of diesel fuel.

The treated portion of the tests was conducted beginning mid August 1997 through January 31,1998. Both the miles per gallon and gallons per hour were recorded. An average overall increase in miles per gallon of (+) 14.1% was obtained. This was accompanied by an average overall decrease in gallons per hour of usage of (-)6.5%

As a result of the success observed at Clermont ILFC Ten35 was installed into the remaining eight terminals starting June1997

After the recommended engine purging time of four to six months the ratio of ILFC Ten35 to fuel was lowered to one gallon to ten thousand gallons at all terminals.

Recognizing the importance that SMI Sunshine Materials Inc. shares with other major corporations regarding environmental issues, ESS is pleased to state that ILFC Ten35 provides the safest, most cost-effective pollution control technology available today.
