Purpose: To reduce the impact of wax and particulate during cold weather.

Wax Formation: ILFC #1052 used at 1 gallon to 10,000 gallons delivers enough pour point and cold filter plugging point suppressant to depress the pour by 5-7 degrees and CFPP by 2-4 degrees Celsius. ILFC #1052 includes a wax crystal modifier to achieve these reduced plugging points.

Particulate: ILFC #1052 contains enough stabilizer at 1 gallon to 10,000 gallons of fuel to keep a fuel below either 10 mg/l by D2276 or 1.5 mg/l00 ml by D2274 for a 6-month minimum period. #1052 will reduce particulate measurement and improve stability (the potential to produce particulate) in fuels already above specification. Both characteristics reduce the risk of fuel color change.

Lubricity: ILFC #1052 will also replace the lubricity lost during the de-sulfurization process of today's diesel fuel at the refinery.
