ILFC 1006 CON-TAC

 Purpose:

To provide a permanent corrosion barrier and lubricant to metal surfaces particularly when exposure to salt water or extreme temperatures are a concern.

Benefits:

Replaces moisture on parts with a unique permanent corrosion barrier and lubricant.
Minimizes resistance of electrical contacts over the life of the components.
Preserves the function of components in extremes of temperature (-70° to 350°F)
Provides the permanent release of joined metal parts.
Will not harden into "lacquer" over time.

Applications:

An electrical component of high performance aircraft - Con-Tac is specified by the military for the F16 and other jet aircraft. Exceeds Mil-L-87177 and 87177A.

Shelf Life:

A poly alpha olefin material base limits the shelf life at 40 years.

Storage Conditions:

This material should be stored below 140° F.
